The Garden of England

Kent is often referred to as ‘The Garden of England’. Research shows that being outside in a garden, field or park improves mood, wellbeing and life satisfaction. There are many open spaces worth exploring in Kent. I try to keep Fridays free to go walking with friends who enjoy finding new places to visit.

The National Open Garden scheme is supported by people opening up their gardens in order to raise money for charity. I have seen many creative and colourful spaces that are tucked away behind modest houses.
