Sunrise and Sunsets

A musician friend recently asked me if I had any sunset photos that he could use for an album cover. I spent a grey day reviewing my photo library and sent him some of these images. It made me think about how much photography is about light, as well as being in the right place at the right time. I know some photographers get up at the crack of dawn to capture carefully planned images.

I don’t plan my life in this way- but do love to visit new places and am fortunate to have travelled to some great countries. This is a small selection of images taken over the last few years with my old Nikon D700 camera.
