London Outing

My friend Glen organised a day out for us to visit the Taylor Wessing Portrait Exhibition in London. We both liked Moroccan-British artist Hassan Hajjaj’s large scale photos and the portrait of Andrew by Japanese photographer Fumi Nagasaka, who has been exploring young people’s involvement with the church in America. After a wander around Leicester Square we went on to Camden Town.

Camden has changed so much since I last visited the area years ago. The market has expanded and as it was half term and sunny, it was packed with visitors. Bobble hats and Union Jack flags were everywhere and cafes were doing a roaring trade. Hippy and vintage clothes dominated the stalls and shops. We had a last wander along by the Regent’s canal before our journey home.
