Faversham Hop Festival 2023

The rain stopped and the sun was shining for the Faversham Hop Festival. Community Heritage Events Ltd run the festival and volunteers sell programmes and Hop crowns to raise funds. It’s a great community celebration, supported by Faversham Markets, town traders, Shepherd Neame and the local Council.

Musicians and bands play on various stages around town and in pub gardens. Crowds fill the streets, which are closed off to traffic for the day. Down at Standard Quay, which used to be a commercial port, there’s an eclectic mix of shops and cafes which were also busy.
