Joy Lane Open Gardens

Last Sunday my friend Sue suggested going to Joy Lane Open Gardens in Whitstable. It was an ideal day for wandering around as the weather was sunny but not too hot. Everyone who participated had creative ideas, beautiful designs and colours that all worked well together in their outside spaces. Some gardens had cabins and well organised sheds and a variety of garden ornaments and ponds. There was a trend in many gardens to keep a wild natural area to attract bees and other insects.

A few lucky people have sea views with access down to the beach. Kisha started her new venture with a cake and drinks stall set up in one of the front gardens, which was a welcome treat!. The Joy Lane Open Gardens raised £995 for charity. Well done to all involved!
